CONSERVATION PROJECT – AGUAJALITO 

As part of our sustainability policy, In Explore Manu we have designed and implemented the conservation project “Plant a Tree” with more than 25 years of conservation work, in the land of conservation Aguajalito in the Manu Biosphere reserve.

Location.- Between buffer Zone of Amarakaeri Communal Reserve and Transition Zone of the Manu Biosphere Reserve.

Project objectives.– The reforestation area, due to its strategic location, serves as a biological micro corridor between the Amarakaeri Communal Reserve and the Manu National Park and cooperates in mitigating climate change.

Reforestation Objectives.- That visitors to Manu participate in the reconstitution of the forest and erase their carbon footprint and take a more objective experience of the Manu forests.
