MANU PUSHARO PETROGLYPHS
4 nights
The Manu biosphere reserve has always been the territory of ancestral peoples such as the Matsiguenka, considered to be the expert hunters and connoisseurs of the medicinal secrets of plants whose heritage goes back thousands of years. In this program we have carefully crafted an authentic experience to connect with the magic of the Amazon, learning about rituals, beliefs and the use of medicinal plants from the Matsiguenka culture.
The Manu National Park is biodiverse, contains more than 20,000 types of plants, 1,200 of butterflies, 1,000 species of birds and 200 species of mammals which the Jaguar is undoubtedly the most mysterious. The Manu National Park is also the territory of various ancestral peoples, each with its own language, customs and traditions so unique that they have survived to our times.
